Jannik Sinner is an Italian professional tennis player. He is currently the youngest player ranked in the top 10 and has been ranked as high as world No. 9 by the Association of Tennis Professionals, achieved on 1 November 2021, and in doubles of world No. 124, achieved on 27 September 2021. At the 2020 French Open, he became the youngest quarterfinalist in the men's singles event since Novak Djokovic in 2006 and on November 1, 2021, he became the first player born in the 2000's to break into the ATP top 10. He has won five ATP titles in singles and one in doubles, and became the youngest ATP title-holder since 2008 by winning the 2020 Sofia Open and the youngest to have five titles since Djokovic in 2007. He was also the youngest ATP 500 champion since the category was created in 2009 by winning the 2021 Citi Open in Washington, D.C. and becoming the first teen to lift a trophy at this level.
